Everyone must have heard of Flipkart, Myntra, and etc etc. I am sure most of us must have done online shopping through one of these sites.

Did you know that our own state-GOA has its own online shopping site. Well let me tell you more about it.

Shopaholics in Goa may now be able to indulge their itch by logging on to a local online store launched on August 10.

This Goa-based online store was launched by chief minister Manohar Parrikar at a function in Panaji. Cooldukan.com was launched by its promoters following the success of another national online store Flipkart.com.

Nilesh Amonker the founder said his store had generated Rs 1 lakh in the first two days of operation. He said “ Retail is moving online. Companies like Flipkart are doing huge business in Goa. We monitored the market for a year before we ventured into the business. Our research showed that there is huge potential in e-commerce. And the market is expected to grow by 40 per cent every year.”

Everything sounds great.
